Mounting guide

At Foldrs, we’ve designed our crates to be secure, stylish, and simple to mount. To ensure the best fit, each crate is matched to your specific bike model. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started.

What you’ll need:

Your Foldrs crate
Mounting kit (included with your order)
Your bike (obviously)

Step-by-step instructions

1. Unfold the Crate

Unfold the crate by releasing the side panels and allowing them to lock into place. Make sure the crate is fully expanded before mounting.

2. Align the Mounting Plate & Stick to your carrier

Peel the backing of the tape and position the mounting plate on the underside of your bikes front or rear luggage carrier, make sure it sits flat and centered, and stick the plate to your luggage carrier .

3. Attach the Crate to the Bracket with the Screws

Use the included brackets and screw the crate securely to the mounting plate on the underside of your bikes carrier. Tighten with the provided Allen key, firm enough that the crate doesn’t shift.

4. Double Check Stability

Give the crate a gentle tug. It should feel snug, with no wobble or looseness. If it moves, retighten the screws evenly.

5. Test Ride Ready

Before loading it up, take a short ride to make sure everything feels balanced and secure. Done? You're ready to roll.
